Officer. Very fine, tall, erect figure standing on a rockwork
base. Elegantly dressed on a sancai glazed tunic worn over a long
straw glazed skirt. Head turned slightly to the side with bulging
eyes and opened mouth. High hat in the shaped of a miter molded with
seven mountains peaks flanked by wings. Right hand clasped as
holding a scroll and left hand concealed under garment. Tang Dynasty

Lokapala. Standing erect over a seated bull. Belligerent
commanding expression with both hands held in a fist. Elaborate
painted armor with a three peaks painted helmet. Tang Dynasty

| Tomb
spirit. Standing in guardian position on plinth, mythical
beast with leonine face and bulbous eyes with flame-form crest issuing
from the head downward across the back. Traces of orange and black
pigment on body. Tang Dynasty (AD618-907).
