Frontal full view of a Tang court guardian - Lokapala.  Standing erect over a seated bull.  Belligerent commanding expression with both hands held in a fist.  Elaborate painted  armor with a three peaks painted helmet.  Tang Dynasty (AD618-907).  H. 21.25 in (54 cm)  T.L. tested
