| Tomb spirit. Standing in guardian position on plinth, mythical beast with leonine face and bulbous eyes with flame-form crest issuing from the head downward across the back. Traces of orange and black pigment on body. Tang Dynasty (AD618-907). H. 20 in ( 51 cm), W. 6.25 in (16 cm) T.L. tested. |
